An elegant Regency Tilt-Top Breakfast Table in Rosewood, with Burr Elm banding to the top.
English, c. 1815.
The table has round, rosewood veneered tip-up top with original brass latch, crossbanded with burr elm, over a turned baluster support grained as rosewood, above a quatreform platform with gadroon moulding, raised on four downswept scrolling legs terminating in original brass capped castors.
Excellent antique condition, with a lot of patina and character. Historic marks, cracks, scratches, wear, repairs, etc., as expected of genuine antique furniture.
