A highly collectible set in a rare form of four porcelain Peking ducks, very elegant and well proportioned, beautifully detailed. They all slightly differ from each other in shape as expected from the handmade pieces.
The exquisite style, wonderful intricacy of detail and fine craftsmanship of this beautiful set allow to date it to c. late 19th – early 20th century, when these ducks were popular as a traditional wedding gift in China and were made for export.
The two bigger figurines measure 9 in / 23 cm tall while the smaller pair stands 4.25 in / 9 cm tall.
The set is beautifully presented in excellent original condition with no repairs, chips, cracks, hairlines or rubbing.
