An elegant late George III - early Regency period mahogany Canterbury (magazine rack) of unusual slatted form after the Gillows design; having three interior divisions, with the top edge finely reeded; raised on four slender exceptionally finely turned supports, terminating in original brass castors.  

Possibly Scottish, c. 1800

Fantastic colour and patination, very rare in this restrained design.
