A large close pair of late 19th century Chinese-export famille rose porcelain vases.
Canton, China, Qing dynasty, Guangxu period (1875-1908)
Each vase is shaped in baluster form with flared scalloped rim, having moulded Chilong dragons applied to the shoulder, and a pair of handles modelled in the form of Buddhist lions, and enamelled with panels, depicting battle and court scenes.
Good antique condition, minor restorations to the body of one vase and the rim of the other one; general handling wear - please see photos.
