Peacock's Finest joined LAPADA

We are excited to have been elected to join LAPADA, the Association of Art & Antiques Dealers, UK's largest and one of the most respected associations in the world.

Membership in LAPADA, founded in 1974, is only open to those who meet the Association’s requirements as to experience, quality of stock and knowledge of their subject. Currently there are over 550 members across the UK and in 16 other countries.

LAPADA was the first antiques trade association to introduce a Code of Practice, to reassure the public and give them confidence when they make a purchase from a member. As all members, we follow this strict Code of Practice and all relevant consumer protection laws.

Having joined LAPADA, we have also become members of CINOA (Confédération Internationale des Négociants en Oeuvres d’Art), the international federation of 32 art and antiques dealers’ associations representing some 5,000 dealers who all share the principles of quality and integrity founded on a depth of specialist knowledge. A member of the public who buys from a member of CINOA has the confidence of knowing that the dealer subscribes to strict guidelines concerning the ethics of dealing and belongs to a recognised and respected national association that vets its members.
