A superb pair of late Regency - George IV period hall chairs in well figured mahogany

English, c. 1825

The chairs are elegantly decorated with the arched gadrooned crestings over moulded tablets to the shaped backs, over trapezoidal solid seats raised on turned front and sabre back supports.

Fantastic original condition, superb colour and patination.
